What winemakers often ask us.
Does Connect work with my shop system?
Yes, with all common systems: Shopify, Shopware, WooCommerce, Magento, JTL and custom-built shops. The standard route is handled by our crawler: it reads your wine data automatically — all you give us is your domain.
Can I also connect Vinolin via an API?
Yes. For fully automated data exchange we offer an open REST API and a native Winestro integration. Products, stock and prices stay in sync without manual effort. Both are included in every package free of charge — not just in the higher plans.
Does Vinolin access my customer data?
Not for the AI Sommelier. It works with your wine data alone. Only the Newsletter Autopilot (from Summer 2026) needs access to order histories to make personal recommendations. That happens GDPR-compliant and on the basis of a data processing agreement. Your customer data remains your customer data.
Does Connect change my shop design or loading times?
No. The AI Sommelier is embedded via a lightweight snippet and sits as a self-contained element on your page. Your design, your checkout and your loading times remain untouched. Remove it again and no trace is left on your shop.
Do I keep control over what the AI Sommelier says?
Yes. The sommelier answers exclusively based on the wine data you provide and never makes anything up. You can adjust descriptions, recommendations and tone at any time. What it says about your wines is up to you.
What happens if I have more conversations than my plan allows?
Your AI Sommelier won’t be switched off mid-month. If you regularly exceed your quota, we get in touch and find the right plan together. So you never pay for volume you don’t need — and you’re never left without advice.
